The Budapest Central Waste Treatment Plant was built on the northern edge of the Csepel Island, which receives waste water from the pumping stations of Kelenföld and Ferencváros. The waste waters of Buda and Pest need to be transferred here under the Danube. The waters of main collectors of Buda and Pest are transferred trought two parallel reinforced concrete pipes each.
Dry land microtunnelling: DN 1200 reinforced concrete pipe 749 m; DN 1400 reinforced concrete pipe 524 m
Danube river crossing: DN 1400 reinforced concrete pipe: 2 x 483 m (in depths of 10.64 – 19.4 m)
Soroksár Danube line: DN 1400 reinforced concrete pipe: 597,8 m (in depths of 6.6 – 21.7 m)
